POSTPONED – Singleton – 2022 Mining Update and Procurement Event

Please note the scheduled 11 May, 2022, event at Club Singleton has been postponed.

Event Update:

Unfortunately, due to clashes with election events, the Dialogue has had to postpone the Mining Economic Update and the Procurement Networking Event, scheduled for Wednesday 11 May 2022.

All tickets purchased will be refunded and attendees will be notified shortly.

We plan to reschedule both events to after the election.

Session 1: Update on the Economic Contribution of Mining to the Upper Hunter (Stephen Galilee, CEO, NSW Minerals Council)

Stephen Galilee (CEO, NSW Minerals Council) will present data from the latest NSWMC Expenditure and Jobs Survey for 2020/2021, showcasing the economic contribution of mining to the Hunter region. The presentation will include insights into direct spending, employment, businesses supported and community contributions. Stephen will also discuss how mining is contributing to a stronger and more diverse Hunter economy for the future.

Session 2: Procurement Networking Event

A networking event will follow, providing an opportunity for supplier businesses to connect with procurement representatives from various locally operating mining companies. This event is ideal for businesses looking to commence engagement with the mining sector and learn how to best equip themselves for a successful tendering experience.
