The Upper Hunter Mining Dialogue presented at the Muswellbrook Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s July Breakfast event this week.

Representing the Dialogue’s Secretariat, NSWMC’s James Barben provided an update on current projects and priorities, including key issues arising from the 2022 Community Forum Feedback that the Dialogue is seeking to address, the upcoming Pasture Restoration Field Day scheduled for October, and the Dialogue’s ongoing annual water use and rehabilitation progress reporting projects.+

The presentation also noted the various projects completed to date, as well as the Dialogue’s stakeholder engagement and communications activities including the successful School Mine Tours Programs, which was established in 2018 for local primary and secondary students.
