The Upper Hunter Mining Dialogue and Muswellbrook Chamber of Commerce and Industry have joined forces to present a two-part event for local supplier businesses.
More than 100 people attended the breakfast update on the NSWMC’s Expenditure Impact Survey results for the region, as well as a procurement networking event for local suppliers and procurement representatives from the region’s mining companies.
Conversation flowed and discussions focused on how suppliers can best prepare their businesses for any upcoming tender opportunities across the region.
There will be another similar breakfast event with the Singleton Business Chamber, scheduled for Thursday 19 August 2021. It will be promoted to Dialogue stakeholders and Singleton businesses shortly.
We thank the Muswellbrook Chamber of Commerce and Industry for their assistance organising the event. And our members and industry representatives for supporting the event including Bengalla Mining Company, BHP, C-Res & Local Buying Program, Glencore, MACH Energy Mount Pleasant Operations, Malabar Resources and Thiess.
